Have had this vac for about month and a half now. Very powerful, good suction, light, and a little quieter than our old eureeka. Doesn’t look fancy..actually looks kinda cheap. But it seems solid and performs. You can’t go wrong for $68. Consumer reports best buy as well.

The adapter works extremely well and fast as well as being far away and several walls between the router and the adapter. I can pop it in my purse and use it elsewhere on my friends laptops and machines, it is my best purchase yet, WOW !!!

Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 I’m very impressed with this desktop series. It is comfortable and easy to use. I bought 2 of them, one for myself and one for a coworker. The wireless range is 30 feet, and the signal doesn’t …
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
If you like fantasy, you would love Artemis Fowl because it takes
place in Dublin, Ireland and has to do with breaking the barrier
between faeries and humans. Instead of faeries being the average
old fashioned kind, faeries live underground after we won the
“Eternal War”. The LEP(lower elements police) actually are
hundreds of years ahead of us and have evolved into a high tech
civilization. Artemis Fowl captures an LEP officer named Holly
Short with help from his bodyguard, Butler. Then the LEP try to get
Holly back. Artemis’s intention is to not hurt Holly but to trade
her for gold. The LEP decides to kill Artemis in many ways. Read
to see if Artemis survives!
I recommend this book to solo readers from eight to eighty. This book is
about a battle between faeries and humans but no one dies or gets hurt.
Artemis Fowl is on audio books, hardback and paperback. The best
feature is you have a code to crack on the bottom that is related to the
code in the book. This is the first in a fantasy series and you should
read Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident next.

HP DV2000 WIRELESS WIFI
This was so complicated compared to 2003. Sorry I updated. I guess I’ll have to give it a little more time to “find” the tools when typing a letter, etc.

I bought my Kindle on a whim after reading a newspaper article about it, I was hoping it would save me luggage space and weight when I go on holiday. I was a little uncertain about having to make all purchases through the USA and I’m not sure why Amazon UK doesn’t support Kindle. Anyhow, I am thrilled with it. The Kindle arrived within three days, already programmed with my name and account. I had also ordered a UK charger for it from a UK Amazon seller which arrived at the same time. I was up and running in no time. I very quickly got used to reading on the screen rather than paper and also quickly got used to the page turning. Those who love paper books and aren’t sure about how they will take to this should take heart and put your reservations to one side. I am also old fashioned about books and I’m no geek when it comes to new technology, in fact I’m usually in the dark ages. But Kindle is so easy and friendly to use – books are downloaded in seconds with no fuss. A great feature is that you can download from the Kindle shop free samples of books, usually the first couple of chapters, to see how you like it before deciding whether or not to buy. The screen is great and page turning is easy, it can be done single-handed, with either hand, you just need to press your thumb on the perfectly located buttons when you are ready. My only gripe is availability and cost of books. Many books are free or cost next to nothing in the US but aren’t available to UK customers. I don’t understand why. Also, Amazon needs to expand its store of Kindle books but I’m sure this is being worked on as I type. New releases and best sellers can be expensive, sometimes dearer than paper books (which doesn’t make sense) but, again, I’m sure the prices will come down markedly over the next 12 to 18 months. You don’t have the same choice and value as you have with Amazon paper books or when you go into a book shop, but I have every confidence that we are well on the way. I

I thought it was a wonderful story. Growing up in and being a teenager in the 60’s in Wyoming, we weren’t exposed to much racial hatred, but watching the news was horrifying to me. I loved the characters. I will likely read it again.

Bambino Wireless Internet Baby
I installed this adapter in a Dell Latitude L400 running Windows 2000 with no problem at all. Found my wireless router immediately and I was up and running within 10 minutes after opening the box. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my sons Latitude LS a week later. Works great in the house, plenty of range.
Linksys WPC11 Instant Wireless
It’s pretty quick, quality is good, wireless connection is reliable, setup is straightforward. The contact sheet/photo printing is terrific – put a memory card into the printer and print a contact sheet. On the sheet, fill in the dots of the pictures you want, scan the sheet and it automatically prints the pictures you want. The software is okay, not terrific, but it’s more reliable, the quality is better, and more economical than HP printers.
