Very inexpensive, fast delivery. This HDMI cable has no ferrite beads at the ends and it is pretty thin but I did not notice any difference in picture quality (1080p) with my othe HDMI cables

With the purchase of my Canon T2i, I wanted a larger capacity flash memory card and decided to start with Transcend’s 16GB product. I have used it extensively in the first month I have owned the camera and am very impressed with the transfer speed and reliability. I have owned other flash memory cards made by Transcend in the past and have never had a problem. I will definitely buy more of their cards in the future!

I was really hesitant about whether I would like a e-reader, and was very torn between the Kindle and the Barnes & Noble Nook. But I could not be happier with my decision to go with the Kindle. The battery life lasts forever (I have read two whole books on a single charge)! The Kindle really lets you get down to the reading and soon you will forget you are even using a device and not a real book. Also it is great for glare, I have read several times in the direct sun and it is easier on the eyes than a traditional book!

I love this thing. Love it. I’ve wondered for years how far my pooch Niki and I were walking, and this Garmin lets me check real-time during the walk and keeps a history of every walk that can be loaded onto a computer. It also keeps track of how long we’ve been walking, as well as our current, peak, and average speeds. The watch itself will also show a trace of the walk, but I haven’t found that to be very useful to me, yet.
The Garmin sofware is excellent. Hands down, my favorite feature is the ability to show a walk in Google Earth with about two clicks. I can’t express how excited I was to see that it could do that – and do it so easily. Not only is the track directly imported into and shown in Google Earth, but the walk can be traced as it occurred (either manually or automatically at a selected speed, forward or backward). I also like how the Garmin software will plot various parameters as functions of time or distance, such as speed, heart rate, and even elevation.
I don’t use the heart rate monitor very often, but when I have, it’s worked great. The wireless aspect is very convenient. The monitor strap takes a bit of getting used to, as it needs to be tight enough to maintain good contact with your skin, but I don’t find it too restricting while walking.
I’m not used to wearing a watch, and the size of this was a bit strange at the very beginning – but only for a few minutes. I got used to it before the end of the first walk. I did replace the rubber wrist band with the Garmin velcro strap within a week, though, because the holes on the strap wouldn’t quite let me get a comfortable fit. I’ve been happy with the velcro strap.

I did not have room for my old speakers at the sides of my new 25.5 inch monitor, so I bought these. The side speakers are small enough to lie horizontally under my monitor, and the woofer (sub-woofer is a ridiculous term for something this size) fits right behind the monitor. Since the speaker in the woofer cube is downward-firing, and the sound relatively omni-directional at these frequencies, it has no problem getting out from behind my monitor.
The sound is relatively wide-ranging and sounds quite good for my purposes, which is just as a PC monitor and watching a few TV shows, but it is not meant to be any sort of a major entertainment center. For that, it works quite well. But I improved the flatness of the frequency response by running the equalizer that is built in to Vista. First, plug in a microphone into the Mic input on your sound card, and place it on top of the chair in your normal listening position. I used a microphone that came with my stereo receiver, but had to boost the level by 20 dB in order to get enough output from the mike (choose the “Recording Devices” from the speaker icon in the tray for this). Be sure the microphone input is enabled also (no red icon in the “Microphone Properties/Levels” tab). Then, open “Playback Devices” from the speaker icon in the tray, highlight “Speakers”, and select “Properties”. Then select the “Enhancements” tab, and check the box for “Room correction”. Finally, select “Settings”, and it will output calibration tones to correct for the speaker and room acoustics. It works for me, and you get decent sound for a very cheap price.

Very pleased with this device. It is like having a full size PC in the palm of your hand. Movies look great, and the music sounds awesome with headphones. Extremely easy to use, and surfing the web with WiFi is just like on my desktop pc.
Dr Doctor Who Space
Good story, engaging and well written. The author pulls us in, creating empathy for characters whose lives are totally unlike our own. Chapters go back and forth, with each of the main characters narrating effectively. I’ll leave it to other reviewers to comment on the story line. However, we are left with a good picture of the not so long ago South.
