They were not easy to install, despite the advertising that said they were. I have a small bike frame (13.5″) with 700cc 35mm wheels. These fenders are a tight fit and I’m still tweaking their fit because something is always rubbing somewhere. I’m not absolutely certain the fit troubles are because of the small bike frame.

The instructions that came with the fenders are better than instructions that have come with other bike components, but they still assume the person reading them already knows what he/she is doing.

The concept is excellent, however the reality of these fenders is quite different. I’m sure the fenders will do their job spectacularly, if they don’t wear a hole in my tires, first.

I purchased the Garmin Forerunner 305 just last week and have had a chance to use it everyday this week. It is exactly what I expected and more. For starters, let me tell you I am a beginner so I can not verify that all of the data collected (pace, distance, hr) are accurate, but they seem pretty close to me. I jog around a lake and I did a google map point to point search and found the Garmin distance was within .2 miles of what Google maps told me. As stated earlier, I am not a beginner. My short term goal is to work my way up to running nonstop for half an hour and work my way up from there. I hope to accomplish this through interval training doing the run/walk method. Guess what?…. You can actually set the Garmin to beep after certain distances or time to let you know you are now in the next interval. I don’t even have to look at the watch… just wait for the beeps. Its incredible. The heart rate monitor seems pretty accurate. Sometimes, I will stop to check pulse and it seems like the Garmin is always within 5 beats of my physical check. Just make sure you have the strap on right side up. One day I had it on upside down and my numbers seemed a little skewed. I love the fact that I can customize what information needs to be displayed on each of the screens. Since I use the interval feature, the first screen will contain information about the lap…number and remaining time. The second screen, I have customized to include additional information about that lap, and the last screen has info about the overall total. I have a whole other screed which I don’t use! Overall, I think its a great product which will give you a wealth of information whether your the beginner or ultra marathoner.

The software that came with the unit is a bit limited. I really have not found a use for it and the map functionality could use an update. I subscribed to the GarminConnect site which was a little bit better but not the best. The good thing about it is you

In January 2000, I bought an earlier version of this Hoover® SteamVac and it has been one of the most reliable appliances I’ve ever owned. Back then I even purchased an extended warranty for it, but could have saved on that expense, because the carpet cleaner NEVER SKIPPED A BEAT while being routinely used 5-6 TIMES A YEAR FOR TEN YEARS. I started it up a month ago to do some spot cleaning, and while it still works, the suction would automatically shut off when the recovery tank was only half full. I also could not locate the source of a tiny drip that occurred when it was not running. Finally, it seemed as if the suction was not as strong as it once was. Wow, after A DECADE of faultless service, it was time to replace my beloved carpet cleaner that was finally showing its age.

So I wasn’t surprised to see the overwhelming consumer praise for this descendent of my old Hoover® model on Amazon, and its #1 position as their best-selling carpet steamer. I shopped around, but with free shipping couldn’t find a better deal than Amazon. I ordered it on Friday and rec’d it the following Wednesday – fast. It comes partially assembled and I assembled the rest in about 15 minutes – very easy. I put it to work right away and was WELL PLEASED with its performance. There are a few design changes and some functional improvements to my old one – most notable is the more powerful suction. Writing this review two hours later, the carpet is nearly dry.

As a veteran Hoover® SteamVac user I whole-heartedly endorse this carpet cleaner, and can offer these suggestions for best results:

>> As Hoover suggests, be sure to vacuum your carpet very well before you start cleaning them. Loose fibers, pet hair and other debris will visibly hang up in hood. No doubt this will interfere with the overall performance. I didn’t bother vacuuming once and had to fish the debris out of the hood with a pipe cleaner – lesson learned

>> Keep up with the carpet cleaning – it’s just ea

I guess it’s categorized as smooth jazz, but that term sometimes has negative connotations, so I don’t know if that’s a fair way to categorize it. Anyway, there are really stellar performances on this DVD, and I can’t stop listening to it.

Great piano playing of Bob James, beautiful bass work of Nathan East, tasty guitar work of Larry Carlton, inspirational, exciting drumming of Harvey Mason, and all-around great compositions.

Beautiful stuff.

This is first book of a series. Before purchasing any other books from Neal Walsch, I recomend you read this one.

To put this in perspective I am 81. When I was first introduced to this game my thought was, this is for children. When I started playing the tennis game I found I was getting an enjoyable aerobic workout. I have since purchased my own Wii sports package game and have truly enjoyed the game and the health benefits derived from it. I would highly recommend this for all ages. The only reason I rated the game over all at 4 stars is that I wish they had made the game so it could be played one on one as well as they have it now with two people on each side.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hose is permanently installed in the vacuum and makes using the tools quicker and easier along with good suction. My old Hoover’s hose was separate and had to be inserted at bottom of machine. Good change. Did not find the noise level offensive. Good buy for the money.

I am very pleased with the EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale which I purchased. It is very easy to use with the “Step-On” technology and large backlit display. I got on and off the scale several times and it gave the same reading. I then got on and off holding various objects whose weight I knew and the reading changed appropriately.

I have a feeling that this novel is really semi-autobiographical.. I think the author plays the role of Skeeter in the novel. What was written, had to be written.. Hope to see more books by Kathryn Stockett in the future

“The greatest hits: My prerogative” DVD brings 20 videos of Britney Spears, including rarities, such as the unfinished video for “Outrageous”, “Born to make you happy” (released as a single only in Europe) and “Overprotected” (international version).

The DVD case is amazing, in silver digipack, with a folded poster of Britney inside.

The DVD menu is cool, though it is hard to handle. I must confess it took me some time to figure it out, but it is very
functional as well. At first, you see all Britney videos in a timeline, separated by her albums (like eras).

The “alternate versions” of the videos are great and I keep on watching them all the time. Just select “alt.version” and the screen rotates, so that you can access the extra material.

As a huge fan of Mrs. Britney Spears, it is amazing to have an opportunity to go back in time and see an innocent Britney, lost in “…Baby one more time”, singing on the school corridor or outside the school with the dancers, in uncut versions of the original video.

I absolutely love the accapella version of “I’m a slave 4 U”. The karaoke version of “Toxic” is outstanding, with Britney’s body covered with diamonds, performing in front of the camera. It’s also touching the alternate version of “Everytime”.

The DVD audio quality is good, except for “stronger” which is encoded in a very, very poor quality! I don’t know why they did that.

Anyway, being a fan or not, this video collection is a must-have item.

Below, a summary of the alternate versions of the expanded videos. Enjoy!
