I felt it was a fair price for this video card. The size allows me to take many pictures before needing to empty it.
3X TELEPHOTO LENS FOR

This is a book to pass up as it is page after page of fluff with no substance for the individual who is truly interested in coversing with God.
Vivitar Series 1 High

This is a really nice looking accurate scale that simply tells you your weight. It’s a little different to turn on. I thought I would just have to tap the scale to turn it on, but it actually takes more force then that. It takes tipping it slightly then letting the force of gravity turn it on. I like that it doesn’t have all the wacky bells and whistles that other scales seem to have now. And hey! It came with batteries!
The Light

The unit is easy to use and very accurate. What else can you ask for.
2003 Fleer Teenage Mutant

I bought the forerunner 305 for my husband. He loves it so far. The GPS feature seems work out pretty good; the device is able to track most of the the running trails he went including Melbourne city in Australia.
There is only one thing I am not satisfied with the customer service of Garmin 305. There is a warning sign that certain materials used for the watch may cause birth defects or cancer. I called up their customer support and they are not able to provide me any information about this. I hope Garmin will do better than this to reduce the health risk that their customers may expose to when the products are distributed and used.

We received our scale and it is the best I have ever seen. Such a large platform and the scale is so accrute to the Medical Clinic I go to. Would order another or suggest it to anyone. cakelady

An undertaking like the Iraq war has a thousand authors, and its failure means a thousand attempts to revise and sanitize the story of how it came about. Going to war was the triumph of spin over the obvious, and it is essential to keep that process from distorting our understanding of how the decision was made. This book contributes to a post mortem by laying out things that are public knowledge. In present-day politics that’s a big contribution.

In his account, Sniegoski emphasizes two points: the Administration’s need for a forceful strategy, and the factors that shaped the views of influential neocons and enabled them to package and promote their longstanding goals in a way that made them seem the answer to that immediate need. Those factors include their persistence and energy, their skill in political, organizational, and ideological maneuvering, their fondness for transformative strategies backed by force, their strong ties to particular Israeli political groupings, and their treatment of American interests as identical to those of Israel.

The last two points upset some people but cannot be avoided. Big democratic government is pork barrel government, in which everybody gets something but the most effective interest groups end up with the most. In regulated industries that’s a problem, but in foreign affairs, with war and peace at stake, it can be catastrophic. Sniegoski’s claim is that such a process has resulted in an ill-advised and disastrous war. In view of the importance of the matter the claim needs to be discussed soberly however awkward it may be. This book should facilitate that a discussion.

Review: The Catcher in the Rye

I can understand why “The Catcher in the Rye” has been challenged in some schools and banned in some libraries. Holden Caulfield, the protagonist, uses a lot of profanity and rough language, and gets himself into some situations, such has having a prostitute in his hotel room, that many parents would find objectionable.

But many of us know someone like Holden Caulfield, or maybe we are even a bit like him ourselves, or perhaps we used to be; someone who is like a porcupine that wonders why people don’t get close to him.

I’m not sure why I waited so long to get around to reading this book that some of my friends have called one of their favorites. It was only after reading Salinger’s “Franny and Zooey” recently that several urged me to read “Catcher.” All I can say is that I’m glad I did.

I read this book on two sittings, something that is very rare for me. I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to find out what situation Holden was going to get himself into next, all within the two-day period after getting kicked out of yet another boarding school.

Holden Caufield is a pathetic mess at 16 years old. Not only does he swear a lot, he insults the people he wants to be with, he smokes excessively, drinks excessively when he can, pretends to be something he’s not (but calls everyone else “phonies”), all while he is grieving the death of his younger brother and at the same time missing his older brother who has gone to be a screenwriter in Hollywood.

His little sister, Phoebe, describes the situation accurately when she tells him, “You don’t like anything that is happening.”

Yes, I think we all know someone like that. Which is why this book is so appealing after all these years.

While there is no conclusive resolution to Holden’s situation, there is enough wisdom near the end of the book from his little sister, as well as from a former teacher, to make the book redemptive on many levels.

Thirty cents. I checked to make sure it works, then I put it in a drawer. I’ll probably never use it again.
New Doxology iWorship DVD

This book has been on the best sellers list for a long time so I just had to find out for myself if it was that good–it is! The writing is superb! This is a novel, but you would think that the characters were actually real. It is about the early 60s when white people in the south had black maids and a young girl decides to write a book from the maid’s perspective.

I enjoyed this book very much! It went fast and I was into it from beginning to end. I’d love to se this book made into a movie–it would be outstanding! Read this one, you won’t be disappointed!
